Why BeKind exists

This idea was born in a heavy time. The news carries war after war, and it is easy to feel the world hardening around us. We can't end wars from our phones — but we can refuse to let the hardness in. In times like these, being kind to one another is not a small thing; it is the thing within reach. That feeling is where BeKind began: one deliberate act of gentleness, every day, as a quiet answer to a loud world.

Most apps are built to keep you inside them. They measure success in minutes of attention, and they've gotten very good at taking yours. BeKind is built the other way around: it succeeds when you put your phone down and do something gentle for another human being.

The idea is old — older than phones. Most traditions, in one wording or another, suggest the same daily practice: do one kind thing. We just gave it a calm home on the device you already carry, with a morning whisper instead of a shout.

What we believe

Who makes this

BeKind is made by a small independent team in Sweden — no investors, no growth targets, no ad department. It's a labor of love in the most literal sense, shaped slowly in the evenings and shipped when it feels right.

The app is free and will stay free. If it has softened your days and you'd like to help keep it alive, you can buy us a coffee — every cup genuinely matters to a project this size.
